This written note may hurt your Hindu sentiments, and these are my thoughts which are Complimented by some News on Television(because that's the only thing I do nowadays) some interviews etc.
So much of Huss and fuss has been created, for the "The Ayodhya " thing. In India there is Rajneeti in everything be it Poverty, Economy, Security, education, Culture and what not even Religious Temple.
Tomorrow i.e 5th August will be written in Golden letters oh sorry Bhagwa Letters, in the History of India. There have been wows over this Bhoomi Poojan. Social media is witnessing fights over this issue of this is Wrong Vs Right. These fights are being taken personal by the people as they think Mandir Construction is somewhat related to their protection of religious values whatever it is, everyone has their own point of view on this.
But things get lost, when Hindutva gets a challenge from the Kattar Hindu who talk about Dharam Karam kand. I heard an interview of Shree Shankaracharya where he said these days aren't Good for performing good deeds. With many Kattar Hindus this might be the case, where they consider this Bhoomi Poojan as Symbolic but this is being niptaaoed to fulfil the political obligations. Internally they wanted Ayodhya to be a sacred place as Mecca Medina of Muslims, Rome of Christians, and Amritsar of Sikh's.
Being Hindu is personally a Dharam/ Religion.
Hindutva may be is Political-Culture.Its a legal concept and in terms of definition too it's valid.
Supreme Court itself said, You can't beg votes on the name of being Hindu but on the sake of Hindutva
As In India there is everywhere Rajneeti, so there is Rajneeti in Hindutva too, as Jai Siya Ram got converted to Jai Shree Ram (In some Raudra Roop), and the image of Ram is being changed culturally and politically.
In the television Ramayan which was forecasted way many years back, we saw Ram's some soft image and just very little instances where he held his Dhanush.
In the whole Ramayan he was being shown as a sensitive, Maryadit, and Tolerant.
Nowadays society is being divided into 3 sects,
1) First are the Political supporters
2) Second, are the Leftists, and secularists (may be) as some may think Rajneeti should be Dharam Nirpeksh
3)Third, from none other than the, Hindu saints, who consider these days not apt. (May be)
May be there is some eternal and sensitive connect of people with religion, that anything happens related to it that all the sentiments arouses like anything.
Like when nationalists preached and commented on Geeta, masses were connected and gathered in against of English.
Then the intent was different may be, but Now changes are being made in the Sacred Books, so that the books fit into the Political agenda.
Personal Thoughts on Ayodhya:
It had never affected me and never will. My almost 22 years are bygone, I wanted to visit Somnath temple, that too I don't know I will ever be able to see or not. In the case of Somnath temple,
Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, refused to inaugurate, the Somnath temple, as he wanted, India to be presented as a secular country and not a Hindu country, in the world.
Personally having no grudges but also being a so called Feminist, I don't have any sentiments for Ayodhya as the city is same which had compelled, Mata Sita to give Agni pareeksha , to get out of Ayodhya.
For Ram, the exile was over after 14 years but for Mata Sita Vanwaas was never, over.
